Cousino Financial, LLC is positioned as a full service, independent, wealth management firm, transacting business through National Planning Corporation (NPC). NPC is a national independent broker/dealer and is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and is a member of both FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) and SIPC (the Securities Investor Protection Corporation).

Todd founded Cousino Finanical in August of 2007, after spending 12 years with captive firms, who either offered proprietary programs or restricted the use of certain programs. Realizing that these business models best served the company and not his clients, he decided to create a firm that would be free from corporate greed and pressure and serve the best interests of each individual client. It was at this time that Todd retained his series 24 and series 66 licenses. He is also an Investment Advisor Representative which requires him to act in a fiduciary capacity for each client. Simply put, when acting in an advisory capacity, our firm must act in each clients best interest. Although this seems like a given, the fiduciary standard is not required by many in the financial industry.    

Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Santa Monica, California, NPC was created specifically for the Independent Representative. Providing superior service and support to our Representatives and their clients is the reason they exist, and the collaborative spirit of the NPC team is evident in everything we do.
